THE NUCLEUS OF OUR TEAM
John James Renick (Jim) B.Sc., J.D., LLB, the founder and senior member of the firm holds degrees of Juris Doctor of the Laws, a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology and Environmental Science. Mr. Renick has been devoted to the practice of law since 1994, is a family man and commited to the community he lives and works in, helping such organizations as the Essex Goodfellows, the Chatham Kent Youth Council, the Essex 73's, the Harrow Fair and is a former board member of the Essex B.I.A. to name just a few.
Backing up Jim is our resident Family Law Expert, Chris Knowles also a Juris Doctor of the Laws from the University of Detroit Mercy, a Bachelor of Law from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor Of Social Sciences from The University Of Ottawa. Chris also is a family man and has devoted his entire career to helping families in need. Child protection, custody, separation agreements, protection orders, visitation, divorce and even sometimes reconciliation are among his many accomplishments.
Arguably the "backbone" of the firm Michelle is the one that makes things happen. With over 13 years of experience in various types of law and her knowledge of how to get things done and who to get to do them, she is invaluable to the smooth running of the firm. Michelle is the Office Manager, Para-Legal and a Commissioner for Taking Oaths.
